Avid bloggers, vloggers and facebook aficionados met on Tuesday to battle it out in the annual Safer Internet Day House Quiz in the Maher Library.
The teams used their technical nous and common sense in equal measure as they rode the crest of surfing the web safely. Negotiating tricky problems with gaming, posting, liking and friending, the teams ably negotiated such questions as:
‘You update one of your profile pictures online and nobody liked it after two hours. What do you do?’
‘You are online gaming and somebody wants to add you as a friend. What do you do?’ and;
‘Your best friend asks you to share your password. What do you do?’
The Bede’s House teams showed their internet savvy with a three way tie between Siena, Magdalene and Campion, with Bosco narrowly behind by only one point.
