St Bede’s College accepts a limited number of external/private candidates for all three examination seasons: November, January and Summer.

Please note we accept candidates for written examinations only.  Non-exam assessments (NEAs) e.g. coursework/controlled assessment/practical assessments are carried forward only. Edexcel/Pearson offer a range of subjects at IGCSE level that do not require a practical or coursework component.  These qualifications are good alternatives for those who study independently or are home-schooled (some are available both in January and June).

Further instructions on how to enter, fees for private candidates, deadlines for entries and all related information can be found in the Private candidates booklet 18-19

A separate entry form can be downloaded here: External candidates entry form

All fees must be paid in full before any entries are made. External candidates are registered to sit examination(s) at St Bede’s College only after the fees have been paid in full.
