We place a high value on the educational and social experiences that pupils gain from residential visits and consider them to be an integral part of pupil development. Prep pupils are given the opportunity to participate in residential visits that vary in duration from two days to five days.
Prep 5 students participate in a three-day visit to Robinwood in Todmorden, Lancashire. The centre has extensive facilities within the grounds, including a purpose-built lake. There is a good mix of both indoor and outdoor activities (including the infamous Piranha Pool Challenge) to ensure a fantastic time whatever the weather.
Prep 6 students enjoy a five-day visit to the PGL Centre at Boreatton Park, Shropshire. A former mansion house, Boreatton Park is situated within 250 acres of superb grounds including three lakes, a sandstone cliff and a river. The centre has a huge choice of activities from abseiling to zip wire and an impressive range of facilities.
Prep 5 and Prep 6 pupils also have the opportunity to visit London on our two-day Theatre Trip. Pupils are offered the chance to see two West End shows, go on a backstage tour, visit Covent Garden for a spot of shopping and even see some of London’s main tourist attractions on a sightseeing cruise along the Thames!
