Bedian Alumni

The Development and Alumni Office has been created for the purpose of connecting Bedians with the College and with each other. Over 1000 Bedians have reconnected with the College and joined the Bedian Alumni register. Old friendships have been restored and career connections made, with many former pupils returning to share their professional expertise with the current pupils.

The Bedian family has never felt stronger, but we are keen to forge links with every Bedian we possibly can. Suzanne Wheeler, our Development Officer, has transformed our communication with former students and would be delighted to hear from each and every one of you. She is assisted by Barry Peden and Joe Bowden who have between them eight decades of connection with the College.

Twice yearly we host informal drinks in central  Manchester, typically between 6 and 8.30. The first London Drinks at the Barbican was in October 2017 and a similar gathering is proposed for each October. The 140th Anniversary Ball was a great event and has paved the way for black tie events as well as more relaxed school discos at the College. We welcome suggestions from Bedians about other types of events.
