Dining Services

All dining services at St Bede’s College are provided by our contractors, Holroyd Howe.
Holroyd Howe’s ethos and commitment to providing great fresh food served by well-trained people who really care, has remained consistent. They approach food service with a simple, no fuss attitude. They use the best British ingredients: nothing processed, nothing added, just honest great food every day.

Holroyd Howe champion the importance of providing children with food containing high nutritional value as it is key to their healthy growth. This is why they train and encourage their chefs to take a minimum fuss approach during preparation and cooking to keep the natural goodness in our food.

Holroyd Howe use regional and local suppliers and are passionate about supporting British farmers and producers. They already have many established links with North West suppliers and producers and are delighted for the opportunity to work further with the College to put local trade firmly on our menus.

Meals are served daily in the College Dining Room. There is a cafeteria service and pupils can choose from a wide range of hot and cold snack dishes, street food along with fresh home baked cakes and a selection of fresh fruit. Once pupils have selected their choice, they will place their thumb on a biometric scanner and this is charged to your SIMS Pay account.

Lunch

Lunch menus changes on a termly basis to coincide with seasonal changes and follows a three week cycle. They include a choice of hot meal including vegetarian option supplemented with a choice of vegetables and side dishes.
