I would like to wish all of you a Happy and a Holy New Year and sincerely hope that you were able to enjoy a relaxing and restorative Christmas period with your loved ones. As always, it gives me great pleasure to be writing to you in early 2020 and at the start of another exciting and fulfilling term at St Bede’s.

It has been a truly wonderful beginning to the Easter Term, in particular because we have been extremely fortunate to benefit from significant spiritual and reflective time spent together as colleagues with Fr Eamonn Mulcahy, the Parish Priest of St Anne’s Church in Ancoats, during our INSET day on Tuesday and then with our pupils on Wednesday as Fr Michael Job, the Parish Priest of St Mary’s Church in Failsworth, celebrated our beginning of term Mass in the English Martyrs’ Church and also gave a very moving sermon. We are very fortunate to have a great many friends of the College at the Diocese and are grateful for their ongoing support and inspiration.
