After an early morning of blowing up balloons and sticking up decorations, face paint and hairspray, the common room was transformed into a sea of pink, as the Sixth Form’s annual pink day was upon us once more!

In aid of cancer research, Pink Day aims to raise money and awareness for such an important cause that sadly touches many of our lives. The kind donations from the staff and pupils will help to continue the vital work of this charity and undoubtedly make a huge difference to so many lives.

As always, the entire Sixth Form took it in their stride, with countless impressive outfits, including pink hair tips, sparkly tights and tutus. Though the Sixth Formers stole the show in their pink outfits, the lower school were able to get involved through activities and fundraisers. Highlights included a treasure hunt of pink characters and a break-time sweet sale followed by cakes and donuts at lunch – the more pink food the better! Hannah and Liv showcased their culinary skills with a fantastic pink cake; can’t wait to see them on the Bake Off in the future…
