Calling all Bedian thespians, whether or not you performed in West Side Story!
Rosamund Meehan and Nicki Alderson are proposing a gala evening to celebrate the three productions of the amazing West Side Story performed at St. Bede’s in 1993, 2008 and now in November 2019.
Whether or not you performed in these productions, we would be delighted to see you on Saturday 7 December 2019 for a frenetic day of rehearsals ending in a concert of a selection of music from the show at 7pm that evening. Come along and join one of the choirs or join the orchestra to play arguably the best music in the world of musical theatre ever! Come along and watch! If you are interested in once again performing in the Academic Hall or coming along to support we would be really grateful if you could express your interest by Friday 5 July by registering on the form below.
The shape of the day/evening will of course be governed by how many of you can express provisional interest. It is proposed to offer a bar and refreshments and possibly a school disco at the end of the evening.
It has often been remarked that our work in the Arts reflects “The Best of Bede’s”. We’d love the opportunity to rekindle your contributions in a relaxed alumnus setting.
