Welcome to the second edition of our new faculty magazine which celebrates all things linguistic and literary.
As I write, I am in my kitchen listening to my children playing as they take a break from their studies. Like all of you, I never imagined this would be the context for their schooling this term.
This issue we have decided to focus on some themes and ideas that may help fill your time during “lockdown”. I hope you will enjoy reading this magazine and that you may be inspired to participate in some of the activities and competitions suggested or reviewed by our students. Let’s use the extra time we have to learn a second language, or improve our own.
Of course, if anyone would like to contribute to the next edition of the magazine with your own creative writing, be it poetry or short stories (in any Language), we would love to publish you!
