In Key Stages one and two the curriculum is broadened with additional subjects to expand children’s horizons. Highly qualified and specialist teachers, together with small class sizes provide the best possible education for each and every child in the prep. Our approach to education stems from our deep Catholic roots and is a combination academic rigour and a commitment to the moral and spiritual development of each child. Happy children are those who feel valued, whose strengths are celebrated and whose struggles are supported.
Residential trips are offered to our older children to provide challenge, teamwork and independence. Opportunities to compete, perform and take responsibility for their own learning features prominently.
The Prep provides children with a happy and caring community in which to grow and learn. Curiosity thrives in a vibrant and forward thinking co-educational environment. Children may enter our reception class from their fourth birthday, which should fall on or before 31 August in their year of entry.
Entry into Years 1 to 6 is also possible, dependent on availability. Registration will enable an invitation for assessment into these year groups.
High expectations permeate the Prep and it is an ideal place to develop a life-long love of learning.
We encourage you to visit us soon and I look forward to welcoming you personally.
Mrs Claire Hunt, BEd, Head of Prep
